Kevin Hart hopes to pull off a $500 million heist — to stay out of jail — in the trailer for the new Netflix film Lift.

The comedian teams up with Vincent D’Onofrio and Gugu Mbatha-Raw in the action film about an international crew tasked with stealing gold bars from a passenger plane — at 40,000 feet in the air.

Hart leads the cast as criminal mastermind Cyrus Whitaker.

He’s given an ultimatum by a government agent — steal the gold and stop it from landing in the wrong hands or go to prison for your past crimes.

“Okay guys listen up, our next score is going to be our biggest yet,” Hart tells his crew. “Half a billion in gold is headed to a terrorist cell. We’ve gotta steal it mid-flight.”

The crew thinks he’s joking. But Hart warns them, “If we don’t do this, we go to jail.”

Netflix unveiled the trailer on Sunday, Nov. 5, during Fox Sports America’s Game of the Week between the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys.

The film’s cast also includes Úrsula Corberó, Billy Magnussen, Jacob Batalon, Jean Reno and Sam Worthington, alongside Viveik Kalra, Yun Jee Kim, Burn Gorman, Paul Anderson.

F. Gary Gray (The Italian Job) directed the film from a script written by Daniel Kunka (12 Rounds).

Producers include Kevin Hart and Bryan Smiley for Hartbeat Productions; Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon for Kinberg Genre Films; along with Matt Reeves and Adam Kassan for 6th & Idaho Motion Picture Company.

Lift arrives on Netflix, Friday, Jan. 12.
