Leslie Jones is set to headline a stand-up comedy special for Netflix.
The Saturday Night Live veteran made the announcement Thursday night during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
“Y’all finally get to see what I really do,” Jones told the studio audience. “I am actually a standup comic. It’s great to be the actress and the sketch and all this stuff, but I’m actually a standup, hardcore.”

Jones said the special will be filmed in Washington, D.C., and launch globally in 2020.
“I picked D.C. out of all the cities, because D.C.’s got one of the best comic crowds,” Jones added.
