Kim Zolciak says she had a horrible experience working on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Zolciak, who is currently starring on MTV’s Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets, discussed her time on RHOA with her new castmates.

In a clip from the MTV show, she was blunt with castmate Josie Canseco and the others in the house about why she left the hit Bravo series.

“I walked away from millions of dollars. I was eight months pregnant with my son,” Zolciak said.

Asked if it was really that bad, she responded, “It was f–king terrible.”

She also claimed to her Surreal Life castmates, including singer Macy Gray and Tom Hanks’ son Chet Hanks, that she suffers from PTSD due to being on the reality series.

“I have PTSD from it, like, severe,” claimed the original RHOA member. “There’s not enough money to ever go through what I went through, ever. Karma comes full circle. I’ve watched it happen to people and here I am and well, where are the others — a couple of them?”

Zolciak was there for the start of RHOA in 2008, then left the series in 2012 during the fifth season to star in her own reality series, Don’t Be Tardy.

Don’t Be Tardy aired until 2020 and focused on her family with then-husband, former Atlanta Falcons linebacker Kroy Biermann. They were married for more than a decade until she filed for divorce in May 2023.

Since first leaving RHOA in 2012, Zolciak has made sporadic appearances as a guest and friend of  Shereé Whitfield. Her most recent visit was during season 15.

Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
