Kesha announced on X she will re-record her hit song, “Tik Tok,” to include a line bashing Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The 2009 single made her a star, and included the original lyrics: “feeling like P. Diddy.” The song now will be permanently changed to “f–k P. Diddy.”

I will re-record it when I have legal rights to! Now, my first baby stands for so much,” Kesha shared with her followers on Wednesday, Aug. 7. “It stands for fiercely protecting my fun and unadulterated joy, in myself and in others. The whole ride has been absolute insanity, but the JOY is still riding.”

Back in April, the singer made a surprise appearance while Reneé Rapp was performing at the Coachella music festival in Indio, California.

It was there that Kesha first changed the song’s lyrics. In her social media post, she credited Rapp with the idea for the change.

“I absolutely love the new lyric change. (Shout out to @reneerapp) Yes it is permanent,” wrote the pop star.

The change is because of Diddy’s current legal issues.

For the past nine months, the music mogul has been facing multiple lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault, rape, domestic violence, and sex trafficking

Diddy has maintained his innocence throughout the legal saga.

In March, the Bad Boy Records founder’s Miami and Los Angeles homes were raided by Homeland Security agents in connection with a sex trafficking investigation.

During the raid at his L.A. mansion, heavily armed agents escorted people out of the home in handcuffs, including the rapper’s sons Justin and Christian “King” Combs.

Four months after the raids he put the same L.A. mansion on the market for $70 million.

It’s probably safe to say Diddy has much more on his mind than the lyrics of a song.
