Keke Palmer requested a restraining order against Darius Jackson, accusing her ex-boyfriend of domestic abuse.

In court documents filed Nov. 9 in Los Angeles Superior Court, the actress alleged there have been “many instances of physical violence,” and accused the fitness instructor and actor of being “unhinged, volatile and dangerous to both me and our son,” according to the documents obtained by both Us Weekly and USA Today.

Palmer requested full custody of the pair’s eight-month-old son Leodis Andrellton Jackson.

Palmer, 30, accused Jackson, 29, of “destroying my personal property, including diaries and prescription eyeglasses, throwing my belongings into the street, throwing my car keys to prevent me from driving away, hitting [me] in front of our son, spewing profanities about me to our son, threatening to kill himself with a gun if I left him, harassment, and other physical and emotional abuse.”

The couple started dating in 2021, and their son was born in February of this year.

The Nope star alleged Jackson abused her “multiple times over the past 2+ years.”

The documents said the on-off couple ended their relationship for good last month.

Although the singer and actress claimed the most recent incident occurred last weekend on Nov. 5, when Jackson allegedly “trespassed into my home without my knowledge or consent” and “threatened” her before “lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch and stealing my phone,” according to the court papers. Palmer said security cameras in her home were recording at the time.

Representatives for Palmer and Jackson did not return requests for comment.

The couple made headlines in July after Jackson criticized Palmer in a string of tweets for wearing a sheer black dress with a bodysuit underneath to an Usher concert in Las Vegas, after video surfaced on social media of Usher getting up close and serenading the actress.

Jackson wrote in one post, “It’s the outfit tho… You a mom.”

A short time later, Palmer appeared in a music video for the Usher single “Boyfriend” and seemingly threw shade at Jackson in the video.

In August, a source told People the two were done and Jackson had “moved on.” Palmer and Jackson refused to comment at the time.

Days later, the two celebrated Palmer’s 30th birthday together.

An Instagram Live video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Pop Crave, showed the two smiling and laughing as they sat together in a restaurant.

“D, thank you for taking me out on my birthday, as always,” Palmer said. “I mean, it’s not always my birthday but you always do take me out.”
