Katt Williams is bringing his brand of comedy to Netflix this month with a new stand-up special titled World War III.
Per the streamer, the special will deliver “unfiltered truths.” It begins streaming on May 17.
Here’s the official description: “In the war between truth and lies, there is only one man you can trust. Comedy legend & Emmy Award winner, Katt Williams, returns to deliver the unfiltered truth and hilariously breaks down conspiracy theories.”

This is the comedian’s 12th comedy special overall and his second with the streamer, the company said in a press release Wednesday, which included the special’s key art.
The latest special was filmed at the Dolby Live in Las Vegas in January. Willliams’ previous comedy special with Netflix was 2018’s Great America.
He most recently co-starred alongside Mike Epps in last year’s horror comedy The House Next Door: Meet the Blacks 2. Among Williams’ other credits are the films Friday After Next, Scary Movie V, First Sunday, and the TV series Atlanta, which won him a guest actor Emmy Award.
Williams is also part of a featured group of comedians performing tonight for two shows at the Hollywood Palladium for Snoop Dogg’s F-n Around Comedy Special. He’ll be joined by Epps and Sommore at the event, which is part of the “Netflix Is A Joke” comedy festival.
The actor and comic directed World War III and serves as executive producer alongside Brian Alden, Brian Volk-Weiss and Cisco Henson.
