Kanye West has been named a suspect in a Los Angeles battery case for allegedly punching a man, who West’s camp says assaulted the rapper’s wife.

Fox 11 News reports the incident happened Tuesday night, and the LAPD opened an investigation. So far, no charges have been filed.

The unnamed man did not need medical treatment, but filed a battery report. The exact location of the incident is not known.

TMZ reports West, now known as Ye, is accused of hitting the man in the face. A law enforcement source told the outlet the man allegedly “pushed or grabbed” the hip-hop star’s wife, Bianca Censori, during the confrontation.

A rep for West said the man did more than grab Censori, and alleged the man sexually aassaulted her.

“He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, he grabbed her waist, he spun her around, and then he blew her kisses. She was battered and sexually assaulted,” the rep told TMZ.

The incident happened on the same day the rapper and his wife were photographed walking around Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

The two caused a stir because Censori was scantily clad and barefoot, with bandages wrapped around her feet.

Other visitors to the amusement park took to social media to criticize the couple and asked why Censori was allowed to walk around the park, which has a strict clothing policy.

“Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times,” reads Disneyland’s Guest Courtesy and Attire Policies.
