The BET Experience returns this June with a concert series, live comedy shows, and the BETX 2024 FanFest — all taking place in the Los Angeles area.
BET Media Group unveiled the first wave of performers this week, with Queen Latifah, Common, Cardi B and more artists set to headline the concert series.
On Friday, June 28, at Crypto.com Arena in downtown L.A. — the concert lineup includes Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B, Afrobeats artist Davido, hip-hop sensation Gunna, and rapper Sexyy Red.
On Saturday, June 29, at the Hollywood Bowl, across town in Hollywood — BET will pay homage to hip-hop trailblazers with performances by Queen Latifah, The Roots, Common, and the Jungle Brothers.

The BET Experience, known to fans as BETX, is a series of events held in the days leading up to the BET Awards.
This year’s festivities will include an inaugural late-night live comedy series, from June 26 to June 28 at the Miracle Theater in Inglewood. Taking the stage will be Chris Spencer and friends, Michael Blackson, and Tiffany Haddish.
The BET Experience also features the BETX 2024 FanFest; a free event at the Los Angeles Convention Center from Friday, June 28 to Saturday, June 29. Each year, the FanFest includes panel discussions and other events.

BET Experience 2024 is co-produced by Live Nation Urban and presented by Walmart.
“It’s an honor to join forces with BET Experience as this year’s presenting partner, where we can continue to champion the unlimited potential of Black creators and entrepreneurs,” said Allison Rand, head of brand experiential and talent partnerships at Walmart.
