Jonathan Majors says his legal troubles hurt Meagan Good’s bank account.

Majors made the revelation about his new wife, during an interview with “The Breakfast Club” on Friday, March 21.

“Did you ever feel through any of that, like, you were scared or nervous that Meagan would be like, ‘Yo, this is too much for me?’ What was that like for you?” host Loren LoRosa asked.

“All the time,” Majors responded. “I told her from the jump, this is gonna be crazy. This is gonna be wild.”

“She lost endorsements,” the actor explained. “We got uninvited to stuff. She got uninvited to stuff because she had shown just how down she was, and they knew if Meagan’s coming, J’s coming. She took an incredible hit.”

Majors went on to praise Good for remaining by his side.

“She’s a very strong woman, stronger than me. She kept me up and continues to keep me up,” he added.

On Wednesday, March 19, Majors stopped by Sherri to promote his new film Magazine Dreams. He confirmed to host Sherri Shepherd that he and Good were “secretly” married the day before in front of their moms, with just the four of them present.

“I said to Meagan yesterday, I said, ‘Today might be the happiest day of my life,’” an emotional Majors said through tears. “I love that woman so much. So how it happened — well, Lord, Sherri thank you. We fell in love.”

The couple became engaged in November 2024, after Good remained by Majors’ side during his domestic violence trial.

Majors was convicted in December 2023 of misdemeanor assault and harassment for a confrontation with his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari in New York City.  He was sentenced to probation, ordered to undergo a 52-week domestic violence prevention program, and get mental health treatment.

Majors and Good’s wedding came one day after Rolling Stone published a resurfaced audio recording of Majors admitting he strangled then-girlfriend Jabbari during an incident in 2022.

On Monday, the magazine published what it called “newly unearthed” audio, which it said was recorded “in the aftermath of a days-long fight.”

In the recording, Majors told Jabbari: “I’m ashamed, I’ve never gone and… I never wrestled with a woman before. I never aggressed a woman — I aggressed you.”

She responded, “You strangled me and tried to push me against the car.”

“Yes, all those things are under ‘aggressed,’ yeah,” said Majors.
