A hustler, a pimp, and a pro stumble onto an eerie conspiracy in the first trailer for Netflix’s They Cloned Tyrone.
Jamie Foxx plays the smooth-talking pimp. “I’m an entrepreneur. I work in the spirit of the pimp game,” he says in the video.
Set to Rockwell’s 1984 hit single “Somebody’s Watching Me,” the trailer shows Foxx, John Boyega and Teyonah Parris following a zombie-like figure to a house, where they discover a hidden lab with a clone of Boyega’s character.
“We gotta go, go, go!” a frantic Parris says right before the three flee the lab.
“I don’t know what that was, but that wasn’t me,” Boyega adds.

The three uncover a “nefarious government conspiracy” to make duplicates of local residents, according to the film’s official description.
The cast also includes David Alan Grier, J. Alphonse Nicholson, Tamberla Perry, Eric Robinson Jr., and Kiefer Sutherland.
The film marks the directorial debut of writer Juel Taylor (Creed II, Space Jam: A New Legacy). Taylor penned the script for the new film with Tony Rettenmaier.
Jamie Foxx produced the movie alongside Charles D. King, Stephen “Dr.” Love, Tony Rettenmaier, Juel Taylor, and Datari Turner.
Executive producers include Mark R. Wright, Kim Roth, Jack Murray, Federal Films, Dana Sano, Monte Lipman. Co-executive producers are James Lopez, Poppy Hanks, and Juel Taylor.
They Cloned Tyrone will be released Friday, July 21, 2023 on Netflix.
