Jada Pinkett Smith’s memoir Worthy has generated a ton of headlines, but not a lot of attention on bestseller lists.
The tell-all book was released on Oct. 17, and currently sits at #88 on Amazon — the world’s most popular book retailer.
Last week, Showbiz 411 reported Worthy debuted at #4 on the Amazon Best Sellers list, but the outlet said the book quickly became a “dud.”
In comparison to other new celebrity memoirs, Britney Spears’ The Woman in Me debuted at #1, following its release on Oct. 24.

Utah Sen. Mitt Romney’s biography, Romney: A Reckoning, which also hit stores on Oct. 24, is #9.
Full House star John Stamos’ memoir If You Would Have Told Me sits at #23, after debuting this week.
Over on the bestseller list at Barnes & Noble, Worthy is doing even worse.
As of Wednesday, it wasn’t even in the top 100. Meanwhile, Spears’ memoir is #1 on that list too. Romney sits at #30 and Stamos is #45.
Interestingly, Deion Sanders’ self-help book Elevate and Dominate: 21 Ways to Win On and Off the Field — which won’t be released until March 12, 2024 — is #23 on the Barnes & Noble list.
Despite her sluggish sales, Pinkett Smith has gotten a ton of press.
She had a primetime special on NBC, sat down on the Today show, as well as Today With Hoda & Jenna, Extra, TalkShopLive!, and had interviews published in People, the New York Times, and other outlets.
During her media blitz, the 52-year-old actress said she and husband Will Smith have been living “completely separate lives” since 2016.
She revealed Smith hadn’t referred to her as his “wife” for years before he slapped Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars and shouted, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f–ing mouth!”
Jada called late rapper Tupac Shakur her “soulmate.”
And she told the New York Times she bought her own house as a 50th birthday present to herself, and moved out of the Calabasas compound she shared with Smith.
Still, Pinkett Smith told Today host Hoda Kotb that she and Smith have no plans to divorce.
“I made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce. We will work through … whatever,” she said. “I just haven’t been able to break that promise.”
The two stars have been married since 1997.
