Over the last several months, Murder Inc. co-founder Irv Gotti has been dealing with serious health issues.
Music manager and associate Wack 100 “accidentally” let the news out during a podcast interview on Monday, Aug. 26, that Gotti had suffered a stroke.
“Oh my God, let me check Google,” a shocked Wack said. “I must have said some sh–t that don’t nobody know.”
After realizing he said “too much,” Wack decided to just tell everything.
He revealed that he received images of Gotti, 54, from an employee at a stroke recovery center. In one of the photos, which was later posted by TMZ, Gotti looked like he had lost weight and was walking with a cane.

A representative for the music mogul confirmed to TMZ on Wednesday, Aug. 28, that Gotti did suffer a “minor stroke” over 6 months ago and is fine now.
“Irv has been struggling with diabetes for years, which caused him to have a minor stroke over six months ago. He has since changed his diet to eating more healthy. He’s been successful in making a full recovery. Irv is not in a rehab facility. He is at home with his family, enjoying life,” Gotti’s rep said in a statement.
In the past, Gotti has been open about his issues with diabetes. The music mogul said in August 2023, while on the “Drink Champs” podcast, that diabetes was “deteriorating” his body.
Along with dealing with health issues this past year, Gotti has had some legal problems too.
In July, he was sued by a woman who accused him of sexual assault, however, he denied the allegations.
