The Hollywood Walk of Fame will be welcoming Spike Lee, Oscar-winning costume designer Ruth E. Carter, 50 Cent and Broadway veteran Billy Porter in 2020.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce revealed the names this week via a live announcement on its website made by singer and actress Vanessa Williams, and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President Rana Ghadban.
“This year’s choices were particularly unique. We were able to recognize the talents of thirty-five artists who have already built a legacy here in Hollywood,” Selection Committee Chair and Walk of Famer Vin Di Bona said in a statement.

The honorees were chosen from hundreds of nominations at a meeting this month, Walk of Fame organizers said.
The recipients were selected from the world’s of film, television, radio, live theatre and music. They have two years to schedule star ceremonies from the date of selection.
