HBO Max is celebrating Black stories in honor of Black History Month.
The streaming service announced in a press release Monday it would feature Black talent and creatives in categories including Our Past (Documentaries, Biopics, and Original Films), Our Joy (Classic Comedy Series, Films, and Stand-Up Specials ), Our Future (Groundbreaking Series and Films), and Our Imagination (Animation). The content can be found on a curated page titled “Black History Is Our History.”
“The spotlight page will showcase a collection of thought-provoking documentaries and biopics that highlight civil rights icons,” the company said in a statement.
Among the titles available on the service are John Lewis: Good Trouble; and Say Her Name: The Life And Death of Sandra Bland; as well as the HBO Max Original Charm City Kings; Lovecraft Country; Watchmen; A Black Lady Sketch Show; and Euphoria.

The page will additionally feature the finalists of HBO’s Short Film Competition in partnership with the American Black Film Festival (ABFF): Dolapo Is Fine, A Storybook Ending, Black Boy Joy, A Rodeo Film, and The Cypher.
