Gregory Tyree Boyce, who played high school student Tyler Crowley in the 2008 film Twilight, was found dead last week with his girlfriend in Las Vegas, according to published reports.
The actor, 30, and his 27-year-old girlfriend Natalie Adepoju were pronounced dead at their condo on May 13, E! News reported.
“Greg’s cousin woke up and noticed that Greg’s car was still at the house. He was worried because Greg was to be in LA. His cousin went to check on him and found them,” a source told the outlet.
The causes of death for Boyce and Adepoju are pending toxicology reports from the Las Vegas Medical Examiner’s office.
The actor was best known for his role in Twilight as a student at Forks High School who nearly ran over Bella (Kristen Stewart) with his car. He has one other credit listed on IMDb in the 2018 video short Apocalypse.
He reportedly moved to Las Vegas to help his mother, and would commute back to Los Angeles for acting work.
Boyce’s mom, Lisa Wayne, paid tribute to her son on Facebook, calling him “the best chef” and writing that he and Adepoju were in the process of opening a restaurant.
“I’m sick without you. I’m torn, I’m lost. I’m in pain,” Wayne wrote.
“He was in the process of starting a wing business, West Wings. He created the flavors to his perfection and named them after west coast rappers,” she added. “Greg had a tasting party for his wings, and they were all delicious to me. Him and Natalie were working as a team.”
Boyce is survived by his mother and 10-year-old daughter. Adepoju leaves behind a son.
