It’s the one with an all-Black cast. Gabrielle Union is hosting a live Zoom table read of an episode from the classic ’90s sitcom Friends on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

She’ll be joined by other actors and actresses to read the script from the episode “The One Where No One’s Ready,” according to The Wrap.

The season 3 episode was previously recreated for Jay Z’s “Moonlight” music video in 2017. Union also made a guest appearance on a Friends episode in 2001 titled “The One With the Cheap Wedding Dress.”

The table read will feature Sterling K. Brown as Ross, Ryan Michelle Bathe as Rachel, Uzo Aduba as Phoebe, Aisha Hinds as Monica, Jeremy Pope as Chandler, and Kendrick Sampson as Joey.  Salli Richardson-Whitfield will direct the table read.

Union is hosting the event on behalf of Zoom’s benefit table read series The Zoom Where It Happens, which kicked off with a table reading of Golden Girls featuring Black-ish actress Tracee Ellis Ross, Alfre Woodard, Regina King and Sanaa Lathan.

Each reading highlights a different nonprofit, and this week’s is Michelle Obama’s When We All Vote initiative. According to the event registration, “Zoom Where It Happens aims to catalyze voters and amplify the fight for voting rights and electoral justice, through culture and entertainment.”
