‘Love & Marriage: Huntsville’ Star KeKe Jabbar’s Funeral Details Set

Love & Marriage: Huntsville cast member KeKe Jabbar will be laid to rest on Monday.

The wife, mother, author and professor died at her home on Tuesday, July 2. She was 42 years old.

Funeral services are scheduled to take place at 11 a.m. on July 8, at the Fellowship of Faith Church in Huntsville, Alabama. A public viewing will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 7 at the Royal Funeral Home. Another viewing will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., on Monday, July 8, the funeral home said on its website.

Jabbar, whose full name was Ne’Keshia Jenel Dawson Jabbar, was born on Oct. 23, 1981. She is survived by her husband, three children, her parents and cousins.

On July 2, YouTuber and blogger Marcella Speaks shared a statement from the family, saying Jabbar had passed away.

“It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved KeKe. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded in love,” the statement read. “She was a mom, a sister, a great friend full of life, love, and laughter. She will sorely be missed and at this time, we are asking for respect and privacy in our moment of grief while we process this great loss.”

No cause of death was given, although YouTuber and family friend JoAnn Jenkins later said in a livestream that Jabbar passed away from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Jabbar was the cousin of longtime LAMH cast member LaTisha “Tisha” Scott, who asked for privacy in a statement posted to Instagram on July 2.

The OWN series about a group of longtime friends in Huntsville is the network’s #1 show. Jabbar joined the series in 2023.

OWN did not respond to a request for comment on her death.
