Federal prosecutors are not easing up on Sean “Diddy” Combs, not even a month before his trial gets underway.
Prosecutors filed a third superseding indictment against the music mogul on Thursday, April 3, adding two additional charges.
According to the legal documents obtained by Urban Hollywood 411, the new counts are — sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution.
In a statement to Extra TV, Diddy’s attorneys downplayed the charges.
“These are not new accusers, these are the same individuals, former long-term girlfriends, involved in consensual relationships. This was their private sex life.”

The new charges bring the total to five counts the mogul is facing.
Back in September 2024, he was charged in a 14-page indictment with racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking; and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all three counts.
Prosecutors added the first superseding indictment on Jan. 30. There were no additional charges, but it did add two more alleged victims to the transportation to engage in prostitution count.
The document said Combs “lured” female victims into his orbit “under the pretense of a romantic relationship.” It went on to allege the mogul “used force, threats of force, and coercion, to cause victims, including but not limited to three female victims” to engage in commercial sex acts.
It included a claim that Diddy “dangled a victim over an apartment balcony,” and expanded the length of the alleged racketeering conspiracy — saying it began in 2004, instead of 2008 — and lasted to 2024.
On March 6, prosecutors filed a second superseding indictment, which included a “forced labor” allegation but no new charges.
Diddy appeared in court days later and pleaded not guilty to the allegation that he demanded some employees “work long hours with little sleep” or potentially face “physical force.”
The Bad Boy Records founder remains jailed in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, after being denied bail by three separate federal judges.
His trial is tentatively set to start on May 12, with jury selection scheduled to begin on May 5.
