R&B singer Aaron Hall seemingly disappeared once he was named in a sexual assault lawsuit filed in November 2023.
In the civil complaint filed in New York, a woman named Liza Gardner alleged Hall and Sean “Diddy” Combs took turns raping her after she met the music stars at a record industry event in New York City in 1990 or 1991.
Gardner later moved her case to New Jersey. In an amended complaint filed in October 2024, Gardner said she was 16 years old at the time of the alleged assault and included a picture of herself being embraced by Hall.
As previously reported, the initial lawsuit said Gardner was with a female friend when they came across the two celebrities.
“Combs and Hall were very flirtatious and handsy” with the young women, “offering them drinks throughout the night,” the lawsuit said.

The group went to an afterparty at Hall’s apartment, where Gardner “was offered more drinks and was coerced into having sex with Combs,” according to the complaint.
Afterwards, Gardner said she felt “shocked and traumatized.” As she got dressed, Hall allegedly “barged into the room, pinned her down, and forced Liza Gardner to have sex with him,” the suit said.
In an article published Wednesday, March 26, Gardner’s attorney Tyrone Blackburn told AllHipHop he’s been trying to serve Hall since the lawsuit was filed in 2023, but he’s been unable to find the singer.
The outlet reported documents showed process servers attempted to reach Hall at addresses in View Park, California on June 12, 2024, and Tarzana, California on June 20, 2024.
Attempts were also made in Cleveland, Ohio and Woodland Hills, California, but the founding member of chart-topping group Guy wasn’t at either location.
Blackburn said the situation has become so dire, that he plans to serve Hall through newspapers.
“I believe that service by publication is now the only remaining option to provide notice of this lawsuit to Mr. Hall,” the attorney said. “We have effectively exhausted all reasonable methods of locating him. I am unaware of any additional addresses, locations, or persons we could rely on to get the summons directly to Hall. Therefore, publication in newspapers is being sought as a last resort.”
Blackburn believes Hall has ties to Georgia and California and is seeking the court’s permission to publish notices in newspapers in both states.
Urban Hollywood 411 tried to contact Hall multiple times back in 2023 for comment on Gardner’s lawsuit, but our attempts were unsuccessful as well.
