Dionne Warwick has strong opinions about a possible Whitney Houston hologram tour. While she’s not exactly sure how it would work, she doesn’t like the idea.

“I haven’t a clue as to what that is,” Warwick told Entertainment Tonight last week when asked her thoughts on the hologram tour being developed for her late cousin.

“It’s surprising to me. I don’t know what it is. I think it’s stupid, but whatever it is, that’s what it is,” she added.

Whitney’s sister-in-law Pat Houston — who’s the executor of her estate — announced on May 20 that the tour and several other projects are in the works as part of a new contract with a music and marketing company.

As for Warwick, she’s been busy promoting her new album titled She’s Back. The release comes more than five decades after the debut of her first hit, “Don’t Make Me Over,” in 1962.

The outspoken singer made headlines last week when she said she doesn’t consider any “youngsters” in the music industry icons. While Warwick said she admires Beyoncé, she doubts the “Crazy In Love” singer will have longevity.

“I have an admiration for Beyoncé Knowles Carter now. Watching her growth has been quite refreshing,” Warwick told Essence magazine. “It’s wonderful to see how she’s been able to create what and who she wanted to be and who she is.”

Still, the 78-year-old performer thinks Beyoncé has a long way to go before she reaches icon status.

“Now sustaining and becoming a big icon that Gladys Knight, or Patti LaBelle, or Johnny Mathis, or Frank Sinatra, or Sammy Davis Jr. is? I doubt that,” Warwick said.

“I appreciate her talent, but that iconic status… it’s a long road to haul,” she added.
