Sean “Diddy” Combs returned to New York federal court for a brief hearing on Wednesday, and reportedly appeared to have lost a significant amount of weight.

Elizabeth Millner of Law & Crime Network was among the journalists inside the courtroom. In a live report after the hearing, Millner described Diddy’s physical appearance.

“He appeared just astonishingly thinner, which you can expect [from being] inside a federal detention center for a couple of months now, a lot different from the luxury lifestyle that he was living before,” Millner said. “Maybe being locked up in detention is starting to wear on him.”

Millner added that the embattled music mogul’s hair “appeared grayer a little bit.”

She said the mogul’s appearance was in sharp contrast to the way he looked in video recorded of him in Central Park just before he was arrested in September.

Still, the reporter said the Bad Boy Records founder appeared to be in a positive mood. He hugged his attorneys and turned around to smile at his family.

There were no cameras or recording devices allowed in court, so Millner said journalists took notes with pens, pencils and notepads.

Meanwhile, ABC News reported the mogul wore “a beige smock and pants.”

The outlet said federal prosecutors told the judge they plan to present any additional evidence in the case before the year ends.

“It is our expectation that we will produce everything in our possession by Dec. 31,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson said. “We are processing as quickly as we can. We are mindful of the trial date.”

Diddy is scheduled to return to court for another hearing on March 17.

Last week he abandoned his latest attempt to be released on bail, after three separate federal judges rejected his previous bail requests.

The mogul was arrested on Sept. 16, and is awaiting trial on federal charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

He pleaded not guilty to all counts and remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.

His trial is scheduled to begin on May 5, 2025.
