Alex Jones Calls Childish Gambino’s ‘This Is America’ Video ‘Voodoo’

Conservative radio host Alex Jones watched Childish Gambino’s This Is America music video, and he did not like what he saw.

During a segment on his radio show Monday, the Infowars host offered his take on the Donald Glover, aka, Childish Gambino video, describing it as “emotional idiocy” featuring people “doing a voodoo dance.”

The music video – which dropped over the weekend – shows Glover dancing out his rage and it raises several  important social issues including gun violence in America, racism, police brutality and the country’s fixation on pop culture.

The clip has already been viewed more than 56 million times on YouTube, and it has a lot of people talking, even the ladies on The View.

On Wednesday’s episode, Whoopi Goldberg called the video “extraordinary.” Her conservative co-host Meghan McCain agreed, and described Glover’s work as: “Really interesting social commentary through art.”

But Jones didn’t see it that way.

The well-known conspiracy theorist claimed the video is part of a left-wing conspiracy to discredit Republican achievements. He even managed to find a Clinton connection to the video.

“Every passing day the economy comes back, what are they going to do? They’re going to challenge us with censored internet, and forced feeding things like Childish Gambino,” Jones said.

He then accused Glover of trying to create a fake narrative that Americans are living in carnage, adding that the only places coping with gun violence epidemics are blue states with strict gun-control laws.

“Out of 330 million Americans, showing images of a few hundred people getting killed to create the illusion that we’re living in all this carnage. Only in Democrat, blue abscesses. Only in Democrat cesspits where they’ve taken all the guns and shipped in the narcotics,” he said. “But if you actually go to places like Venezuela over a thousand people a day are starving to death. Starving to death but the government’s passed a law saying you can’t report on it and call it starvation. So it’s all this emotional idiocy and people fittingly doing a voodoo dance.”

Jones wasn’t finished criticizing Glover.

“That’s a voodoo dance he is doing. In fact, that’s a whole ‘Another subject. Pull me voodoo dancing, people in trance, and that is a voodoo dance 110 percent. You’ve got all of that then personified through artwork but they don’t think you know what you’re actually looking at. The Clintons like to go and do their own voodoo rituals, that’s in the news.”

Jones’ conspiracy theories are not new.

He previously claimed the devastated parents who lost children in the Sandy Hook school shooting were paid actors. He also accused the federal government being involved in the Oklahoma City bombing.

So, his claims that This Is America is filled with voodoo, and the Clintons are connected should come as no surprise.
