Chris Rock returned to Saturday Night Live this weekend and no one was safe from the insults he fired off in his monologue.
Rock hosted the NBC sketch series for a fourth time and began by looking back at some of the people who had a terrible 2024.
The SNL alum commented on how tight security was at NBC following the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City on Dec. 4.
“It was so hard just getting in the building tonight. It’s so much security, I walked by a bunch of baby oil-sniffing dogs. It was insane,” he said.

Speaking of baby oil and Sean “Diddy” Combs, Rock then took aim at the embattled music mogul and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.
“It’s been a bad year for my people, Blacks. It’s not been a good year. Kamala, Diddy, Jake Paul beating Mike Tyson. What the hell? Why is this Jake Paul, a 27-year-old punching a 60-year-old man in the face? Is this what the white man has reduced himself to? Who’s he gonna fight next, Morgan Freeman? I hate Jake Paul,” Rock quipped.
While the Emmy-winning comedian noted that Harris lost the 2024 presidential election, he said it was a good year for President-elect Donald Trump.
“Trump survived an assassination attempt, won the presidency again by winning the popular vote, was just named Time Man of the Year. It could happen to a nicer guy,” Rock said jokingly.
The comedian predicted Trump will make good on his campaign promise to deport undocumented immigrants.
“Trump is not playing, man. This time is totally different. He’s working with the number one African American in the world, the richest African American in the world, Elon Musk. That’s right, he is an African American,” Rock said about the tech billionaire, who was born in South Africa.
“Elon’s got more kids than the Cleveland Browns. That’s right. No one knows how to get rid of people like a South African,” Rock said to gasps from the studio audience. “Trump is not playing. He’s got Elon and they’re going to put [immigrants] in a rocket ship and call it space-Mex.”
Rock then took aim at Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, who are in the process of divorcing.
“JLo is gonna marry Ben again, just so she can stay in the country. I know she’s not Mexican, but Trump don’t know that!” he said. “It’s just a big ole Latin stew.”
Singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams served as this weekend’s musical guest. She performed her songs “That’s So True” and “I Love You, I’m Sorry.”
