Bobby Brown Makes Emotional Visit to Bobbi Kristina’s Grave in Trailer for A&E Doc

Bobby Brown visits the graves of his late ex-wife Whitney Houston and their daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown for the first time in the trailer for a documentary film premiering Memorial Day weekend on A&E.

The film titled Biography: Bobby Brown will be shown over two nights and chronicles Brown’s rise to superstardom, the fallout from his personal struggles with sobriety and the tragic deaths of two of his children and first wife, iconic singer Houston.

In the first-look trailer released Wednesday by A&E, the singer and actor kisses a headstone while voiceovers of news reports announce the deaths of Houston and Bobbi Kristina.

He also is also shown remembering his son Bobby Brown Jr. who died in November of 2020.

“Bobby, we miss you,” the 53-year-old says as he holds a candle during a memorial for his son, with friends and family looking on.

Fellow music icons including Usher discuss the highs and lows Brown’s career and personal life.

“It’s beyond hard to imagine what he’s been through,” the “Yeah!” artist says in an interview shown in the trailer.

The docufilm will also give Brown the opportunity to clap back at his haters and all the negative headlines that have plagued him over the years.

In the opening scene for the trailer, Brown is standing with spotlights flashing on him as he makes hand motions in prayer and puts his hands on his head. A stream of headlines calling out some of Brown’s past troubles can be heard in voiceovers, including getting into a fist fight at Walt Disney World.

“The biggest misconception of me is that I really give a f— about what anybody feels,” he tells the camera while wearing a hoodie sweater.

“Good or bad, I give you raw and authentic me being me. Make your own decision, make your own assumptions on who Bobby Brown is,” he says in the final scene from the trailer.

Biography: Bobby Brown airs on Monday, May 30 and Tuesday, May 31 at 8pm ET/PT. It will be followed by the docuseries Bobby Brown: Every Little Step on Tuesday, May 31 at 10pm ET/PT with new episodes airing Tuesdays at 9pm ET/PT starting June 7.
