Terry and Meech are in a world of trouble in the trailer for BMF season 4.
Starz released the explosive teaser and first-look photos for the upcoming season on Thursday, March 13 — ahead of the show’s June 6 premiere.
The video opens with a wounded Meech (Demetrius Flenory Jr.) fighting for his life as his desperate brother Terry (Da’Vinchi) pleads with him to hang on.
“You can’t go like this!” Terry says.
The two land in trouble after heading to Mexico to re-up their supply. While Meech and Terry have faced adversaries before, a voiceover in the trailer warns “this time, shit is different.”
At the end of the video, Meech is asked: “What the f–k happened in Mexico?”

BMF is inspired by the true story of Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and his brother Terry “Southwest T” Flenory. The two siblings rose from the streets of Detroit in the late 1980s to create the Black Mafia Family drug empire.
Season 3 ended with Charles (Russell Hornsby) and Lucille (Michole Briana White) pulling the plug on their marriage; insane gangster Henri (Ren King) turned on her drug kingpin dad Blaze (Christopher B. Duncan) — before Henri was finally taken out; and Meech insisted on an ill-advised trip to Mexico.
The third season averaged nearly 10 million multiplatform viewers, per Starz.
Despite recent reports that the series might end because of off-set tensions, the trailer shows BMF will soon be back in a big way.
Though executive producer 50 Cent took to social media Thursday, and said this is the final season. Starz did not respond to a request for comment on his claim.
The fourth season follows Meech and Terry expanding their drug business to St. Louis and Los Angeles. Back in Detroit, Detective Bryant (Steve Harris) is still coping with the loss of his son, and funnels his energy into taking down the BMF crew. And Markisha (La La Anthony) wants to be taken seriously as Terry’s business partner and moves to make a name for herself in the game.
The series is produced through Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s G-Unit Film and Television in association with Lionsgate Television for Starz.
Detroit native Randy Huggins (Star and Power) is creator and co-executive producer.
Heather Zuhlke is also an executive producer and showrunner. Additional executive producers include Anthony Wilson, Damione Macedon, and Raphael Jackson, Jr.
BMF season 4 debuts Friday, June 6 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT in the U.S. and Canada on Starz. The series is also available on the Starz app and all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms.
