In her first interview since she was sexually assaulted by Bill Cosby is 2004, Andrea Constand has described the encounter in detail to Dateline.
Constand sat down with the NBC news program to discuss the assault that led to Cosby’s conviction last month.
The former operations manager for Temple University’s women’s basketball team told Dateline‘s Kate Snow that Cosby gave three blue pills.
“He put his hand out and I said, ‘What are those?’ and he said, ‘They’ll help you relax,’”’ Constand said in a preview clip that aired Thursday on Today.

Cosby convinced her to take the pills by telling her “they’re your friends,” she explained.
“And I said, ‘Are they natural? Are they, like, a herbal remedy?’ And he said, ‘No, they’re your friends. Just put them down.’”
She said she took the pills because she was nervous about changing careers and Cosby, a famous Temple alum and supporter, had been mentoring her.
“I trusted that they would maybe just help me feel a little more relaxed,” she said.
Once the drugs kicked in, she said Cosby moved her to a couch and assaulted her.
“My mind is saying, ‘Move your hands. Kick. Can you do anything? I don’t want this. Why is this person doing this?’ And me not being able to react in any specific way,” she said. “I was limp. I was a limp noodle.”

Asked if Cosby said anything during the assault, Constand replied, “No. He said nothing that I– that I could recall. I was in and out of consciousness.”
She said she was horrified, but unable to move.
“I was crying out inside, in my throat, in my mind, for this to stop. And I couldn’t do anything,” she explained.
On April 26, a Pennsylvania jury found the legendary comedian guilty of three counts of aggravated indecent assault.
