ABC is the latest outlet to investigate the rise and fall of Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The network is set to air a one-hour primetime special titled the Secret Life of Diddy – A Special Edition of 20/20 on Oct. 9.
According to the official description, the special will include “new reporting and new details as the allegations of his alleged criminal enterprise, involving ‘freak offs,’ drugs and sex trafficking, continue to come to light.”

R&B singer and reality star Ray J, who for years was friends with Diddy but recently said the two are no longer “cool,” will appear on the special.
There will also be an interview with Cassie Ventura’s friend and songwriter Tiffany Red, who will provide “intimate details about the relationship between Cassie and Diddy,” per ABC.
Lizzette Martinez, one of convicted R&B singer R. Kelly’s alleged victims, will additionally appear on the special to discuss an encounter with Diddy.
Martinez will also react to the leaked surveillance footage from 2016 that showed the mogul attacking his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel.
Diddy was arrested on Sept. 16 at a hotel in New York City. The next day, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York announced the rapper and producer was charged with three federal counts — racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
The Bad Boy Records founder pleaded not guilty to all charges.
He has been denied bail twice, and just filed new documents appealing the latest denial.
Secret Life of Diddy – A Special Edition of 20/20 is produced by ABC News Studios and 20/20.
Muriel Pearson serves as executive producer, and David Sloan is senior executive producer. Jake Lefferman serves as the supervising producer, while Janice Johnston is the executive producer for 20/20.
The special will air on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC and streams the next day on Hulu.
