Season 4 of A Black Lady Sketch Show is set to premiere on April 14.

Core cast members Robin Thede, Gabrielle Dennis, and Skye Townsend are all returning, HBO announced this week.

They’ll be joined by three new featured players — DaMya Gurley, Tamara Jade, and Angel Laketa Moore.

The six-episode season will also feature more than 20 celebrity guests.

Fans of the show will notice another change, former co-star Ashley Nicole Black won’t be returning after announcing in October she was moving on to other projects.

“We are forever indebted to our sister, Emmy winner Ashley Nicole Black, whose contributions as a writer and performer on A Black Lady Sketch Show for three seasons have made an indelible mark on our series and in comedy history!” series creator Robin Thede said in a statement at the time.

The new teaser trailer shows Thede’s Dr. Haddassah questioning Fear the Walking Dead actor Coleman Domingo about his African roots.

Thede serves as showrunner, executive producer, writer and star. Additional executive producers include Issa Rae for HOORAE; Dave Becky and Jonathan Berry for 3 Arts Entertainment; Tony Hernandez and Brooke Posch for JAX Media.

Since it launched in 2019, the show has won three Primetime Emmy Awards.

Season 4 of A Black Lady Sketch Show premieres Friday, April 14 from 11:00-11:30 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max.
