BET has announced a new docuseries called No Limit Chronicles centering on Master P and the rise of his iconic No Limit Records.
The five-part docuseries recounts the label’s journey over the years, through interviews, archival footage and recreations of pivotal events in the company’s history, BET said in a press release Monday.
The series will feature sit-down interviews from No Limit insiders, including Master P, Romeo Miller, Snoop Dogg, Silkk The Shocker, Mia X, Mystikal, Fiend and Mr. Serv-On.

Master P, born Percy Miller, rose from humble beginnings in the Calliope Projects of New Orleans.
In a 2016 interview with XXL magazine, the hip-hop mogul discussed the hardships he faced growing up.
“I was getting in trouble in New Orleans and I thought I needed to get away. A lot of my friends were dying young and I wanted to live to be over 19. I thought I was gonna die before I met 19 because all my friends were getting killed — 15, 16, 17,” he explained.
Miller said he decided to leave the South and headed west to California.
“So I jumped in my car and moved to Richmond, Calif. That’s where I learned my hustle game from and then I decided to come back home to New Orleans,” he explained.
“The hustle game that I learned in the Bay, [I wanted to] teach that to the South, how to be independent. We don’t have to just do no record deals, we could do it on our own.”
While living on the West Coast, he took business classes at Merritt College in Oakland, hoping to better himself. He learned about building something from the ground up and eventually became a Bay Area boss.
He started selling cassette tapes out of the trunk of his car, and went on to become a pioneer in the rap game. Throughout the 1990s, No Limit Records released a staggering 66 albums.
His latest project, No Limit Chronicles is produced by Entertainment One (eOne) and Creature Films. Executive producers for the series include Tara Long for eOne, alongside Mark Ford and Kevin Lopez for Creature Films, and Master P and Romeo Miller for No Limit. Randy Ferrell serves as executive producer and showrunner.
