The season 4 trailer for Reasonable Doubt answers a pressing question — who was shot outside Jax’s law firm.
Hulu released the trailer on Tuesday, revealing Jax, played by Emayatzy Corinealdi, is in the hospital fighting for her life — answering the question left hanging at the end of season 3.
The attack shakes Jax’s family and her newly established law firm. But business does not stop and the Stewart Firm must take on a high-stakes case while facing uncertainty about its own future.
“As grief lingers and pressure mounts, one question looms: Can they rebuild in time, or will the cost of moving forward too quickly be everything they stand to lose?” the official description reads.
The series was created by Raamla Mohamed Hunter, who also writes and serves as executive producer.
Kerry Washington executive produces alongside Pilar Savone for Simpson Street, Larry Wilmore for Wilmore Films, Tamara Gregory, Anton Cropper, Lena Cordina and Erika L. Johnson. Shawn Holley, Jon Leshay and Zahir McGhee are also executive producers.
The series comes from Onyx Collective and is produced by 20th Television, part of Disney Television Studios.
Season 4 of Reasonable Doubt premieres Tuesday, Oct. 6, with three episodes on Hulu and Disney+. New episodes will follow each Tuesday through Nov. 24.
