The estranged wife of media personality Big Tigger was arrested Monday, marking the latest turn in the legal saga involving the Atlanta radio host and his family.

Alicia Brown, 37, was taken into custody during a traffic stop on Interstate 85 in Georgia on July 6, both TMZ and Fox 5 Atlanta reported.

Law enforcement officials told the outlets two children in the vehicle with Brown were safely removed during her arrest. According to TMZ, Brown shares one of the children with Big Tigger.

Brown was wanted on outstanding warrants tied to the disappearance of a 10-year-old child who was reported missing in Maryland in 2019. No additional details were released on the case.

She also faces a felony charge of interference with child custody in Fulton County, Georgia. She is expected to be extradited to Maryland in the kidnapping case.

Brown’s arrest came just weeks after Big Tigger was taken into custody on June 20, following a domestic dispute at the couple’s home in Sandy Springs, Georgia.

According to police, Brown said he shoved her into a door during an argument after she confronted him about text messages with a female co-worker.

Big Tigger, whose legal name is Darian Morgan, was charged with aggravated battery and cruelty to children. After posting $10,000 bond, he was released from custody.

The arrest affidavit said the charges stemmed from a May 9 incident that was recorded on a Ring security camera inside the home.

Police said Brown suffered a deep cut above her left eye, leading to the battery charge. Authorities included the cruelty to children charge because the couple’s 13-year-old son was at home and heard everything.

Morgan, 53, released a statement after his arrest saying the allegations were false.

“I unequivocally deny every allegation that has been made against me,” the statement read. “For the past 30+ years, I have built my life around relationships and community. Those who know me know the man, father, husband, and friend I have been throughout my life.”

Morgan, a former host of BET’s Rap City, currently has his own show on Atlanta’s V-103 radio. On July 5, he announced he was stepping away from the radio show to focus on his legal case.

“For as long as I’ve been in this industry, my focus has always been to keep the spotlight on the culture and the incredible people I get to interview,” the statement began. “So I’ve decided to step away from the mic for a while to focus on my family and give my legal team the room they need.”
