Sometimes it’s better to just stay home, at least according to Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.

The “In Da Club” rapper mocked Jay-Z for walking the carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Mufasa: The Lion King on Monday, Dec. 9 — a day after the “Big Pimpin'” rapper was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in a bombshell  civil lawsuit.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, via TMZ, the rapper shared a picture of Jay-Z, his wife Beyoncé, and their daughter Blue Ivy Carter at the premiere. 50 Cent mockingly captioned the post: “Jay said they said I rapped [sic] a kid, everybody get dressed we going to see Mufasa LOL.”

Beyoncé and Blue Ivy both have voice roles in the animated Disney film, but 50 Cent seemed to question why Jay-Z went to the premiere in the midst of his legal troubles.

This is the second time 50 Cent has commented on the case.

Hours after the story broke on Sunday evening, he wrote in a post on Instagram, “Ok I don’t know what’s going on, but are we gonna still have the Super Bowl? I’m just asking for a friend.”

Jay-Z’s entertainment company, Roc Nation produces and books artists for the Super Bowl halftime show.

As previously reported, the “Empire State of Mind” rapper was accused in a civil lawsuit on Dec. 8, of raping a 13-year-old girl at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2000.

The federal lawsuit was originally filed in October by attorney Tony Buzbee on behalf of an anonymous “Jane Doe” accuser in the Southern District of New York.

The initial complaint listed Diddy as a defendant and alleged the Bad Boy Records founder took turns raping the accuser with an unnamed male celebrity, while an unnamed female celebrity watched.

Buzbee filed an amended complaint in federal court on Sunday that named Jay-Z as the unnamed male celebrity.

Jay-Z, born Shawn Carter, immediately released a statement, calling Buzbee “deplorable” and saying the accuser’s claims are “idiotic.”

“These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree?,” the statement read in part. “I have no idea how you have come to be such a deplorable human Mr. Buzbee, but I promise you I have seen your kind many times over. I’m more than prepared to deal with your type.”

Diddy has also denied involvement in the assault.

The Bad Boy Records founder was arrested on Sept. 16 in New York City on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

He is currently jailed in the Metropolitan Detention Center, after being denied bail by three different judges. His trial is scheduled for May 5, 2025.
