Toni Braxton and Cedric The Entertainer Announce Joint Las Vegas Residency

Toni Braxton and Cedric The Entertainer are teaming up for a “Love & Laughter” residency this spring in Las Vegas.

The two longtime friends will co-headline what’s being called a “one-of-a-kind music and comedy limited engagement” in The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

“Throughout the show, the two icons will captivate the crowd through music, jokes and storytelling – creating the ideal feel-good evening,” The Cosmopolitan said in a press release.

Cedric the Entertainer was one of the Original Kings of Comedy and currently stars on and executive produces the CBS sitcom, The Neighborhood.

Braxton is known for her hit singles “Another Sad Love Song,” “Breathe Again,” “Un-Break My Heart,” “You’re Makin’ Me High,” and “He Wasn’t Man Enough.”

The Grammy-winning singer previously had a residency at The Flamingo Las Vegas nearly 20 years ago. On Wednesday, she took to Instagram to let fans know she’s returning to The Strip.

“Excited to announce I’m headed back to Vegas with one of the Original Kings of Comedy, @cedrictheentertainer! Get ready… tickets go on sale this Friday 2/2 at 10AM!” she posted.

Cedric also posted details about the residency on Instagram and wrote: “We’ve put something special together for you and it all goes down at @cosmopolitan_lv starting April 27th.”
