Todd Tucker Turns Kandi Burruss Split Into Divorce Documentary

Todd Tucker is raising the curtain on his divorce from Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss in a new documentary.

Tucker released a teaser trailer for his new film, Til Divorce Do Us Part, on Instagram Sept. 8.

The two-minute preview shows the former RHOA star meeting with his lawyer and removing his wedding ring.

“This is it,” Tucker tells attorney Randy Kessler.

In another scene, Tucker meets with his former and current pastors. He reveals his mind went to a dark place during the divorce process and he considered taking his life.

“I looked at my gun a couple of times,” he shares.

There’s also a discussion about what led to the couple’s divorce. At the end of the trailer, the film is listed as coming to select theaters between October and December 2026.

The video features Tucker interacting with people close to the former couple, including Drew Sidora’s ex-husband, Ralph Pittman; Kandi’s friend Fatum Alford; and Kandi’s hairstylist.

For better or worse, he left the comments section open on the video. Thousands of people chimed in and the reaction was mixed.

“He is monetizing and letting us in his world post divorce. Well done brotha!” one person wrote.

But another person warned, “Don’t put nothing out that y’all kids don’t know about or you wouldn’t want them knowing, the internet is for Life.”

Kandi and Todd were married for 11 years. They met while filming RHOA in 2011, when Todd worked as a production manager on the show. They announced their engagement in 2013 and tied the knot the following year.

Kandi confirmed the two were divorcing in a statement on Nov. 21, 2025.

“After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I’ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce. This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect,” the statement read.

Days later, she got candid about the couple’s split during her Amazon “Kandi Shop” livestream.

“I’m going to be very honest with you, I am up and down,” the singer-songwriter and businesswoman said about her emotional state. “Obviously, going through a divorce is not the easiest thing.”

She added that the two had been having problems for “a while.”
