Tiffany Haddish has vowed to make changes in her life, following her second DUI arrest in two years.

“I’m going to get some help so I can learn balance and boundaries,” Haddish told Entertainment Tonight in an article published Monday, Nov. 27.

“This will never happen again,” the actress and comedian added.

The Girls Trip star was arrested around 5:45 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 24, in Beverly Hills on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Officers took Haddish, 43, into custody after receiving a complaint that a driver was “stopped in the middle of Beverly Drive … apparently slumped over the wheel while the car was running,” according to published reports.

Following her release, Haddish performed a previously-scheduled comedy set the Laugh Factory comedy club in Long Beach.

She asked the audience if they had any questions and someone yelled, “What happened last night?”

“I don’t know, you tell me,” Haddish quipped in an audio recording obtained by TMZ.

The comedian then joked about the arrest, “I had prayed to God to send me a man with a job, career, preferably in a uniform, and God answered my prayers.”

Just hours before the arrest, Haddish spent Thanksgiving at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood. The comedian helped serve meals to the homeless at the venue’s 43rd annual night of free Thanksgiving dinner and comedy. She also performed a stand-up set for attendees.

Haddish was previously arrested on suspicion of DUI outside Atlanta in January 2022.
