Tia Mowry and Jackeé Harry discuss the challenges of maintaining a healthy romantic relationship in a clip from Tia Mowry: My Next Act.
On Friday, Nov. 8, WE tv posted the video to YouTube from episode 6 titled “TV Mama Knows Best.”
Jackeé played Tia’s mom on the 1990s sitcom Sister, Sister, and the two have remained friends.

In the clip, Tia recalls a previous conversation the pair had about “having it all,” and asks Jackeé for advice on maintaining a healthy relationship.
“You had told me that ‘you can’t have everything in life,'” Tia says.
“Not all at once,” Jackeé responds. “I told you I had it for three years in my lifetime. I had it all — I had a man, the kid and the money. It was all working and then it all went to s–t.”
The conversation shifts to Tia’s marriage to ex-husband Cory Hardrict. The two finalized their divorce in April 2023, after 15 years of marriage.
Jackeé says one problem in Tia’s marriage was that she and Cory are both actors and appeared to be in “competition.”
“Somebody’s gotta stay home with the kids or nurture the ego of the man,” Jackeé says.
In a confessional interview, Tia talks about juggling work, being a mom and dating. She wonders if she’s “repeating the same mistake now” as she did in her marriage.
Tia asks Jackeé if she was aware that she and Cory were having marital problems.
Jackeé says no, but she did hear things.
“I did know from [Cory’s] side, if I might say, that somebody else was dissatisfied because they weren’t working,” Jackeé shares. “When one partner makes more money or has more success, it is a gap that is hard, that it can’t work out. You can’t have competition. It just does not work.”
The clip ends with Jackeé saying she’s on Tia’s side, but she doesn’t want Cory to “feel bad.”
