“I’m telling you it was a setup. Now, I’m being questioned. I got a bullseye on my back,” Colman Domingo says at the start of The Madness teaser.
Slated to premiere in November, Netflix released the teaser trailer on Monday, Oct. 28 as well as the poster – which can be seen below – for the eight episode series.

Domingo leads the cast as Muncie Daniels, a political consultant-turned-TV pundit who is currently working on the “great American novel,” but ends up on the run after he is framed for the murder of a well-known white supremacist.
“They are gonna pin all this on you,” Muncie tells himself in the teaser.

While he tries to clear his name, he “unravels a global conspiracy” and along the way, he’ll “reconnect with his family, find unlikely allies, and fight against disinformation in a post-truth age.”
The cast also includes Marsha Stephanie Blake (When They See Us), Gabrielle Graham (21 Thunder.), John Ortiz (Fast & Furious), Tamsin Topolski (What You Wish For), and TJ Mixson (Creed III).
The streamer additionally announced several guest stars, including comedian and BET+ Average Joe star Deon Cole and character actor Stephen McKinley Henderson.
The creator of The Madness is playwright, screenwriter, and film director Stephen Belber.
Belber is also an executive producer along with VJ Boyd, Clement Virgo, and Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Kaitlin Dahill for Chernin Entertainment.
The Madness is set to premiere on Nov. 28, 2024 on Netflix.
