And the next leading lady on The Bachelorette is… Charity Lawson.

The 27-year-old child and family therapist learned she’ll take on the role during Tuesday night’s “The Women Tell All” installment of The Bachelor.

Host Jesse Palmer shared the news with a tearful Lawson at the end of the two-hour episode.

Palmer told her he wanted to play a game of “This or That?” for The Bachelor’s social media channels. His final question to Lawson was whether she prefers The Bachelorette or Bachelor in Paradise.

The Bachelorette,” she responded.

Palmer took a long pause, leading Lawson to believe she’d made the wrong choice. He then told her, “I’m glad you said that, because Charity, I want you to be our next Bachelorette.”

“I’m the Bachelorette!” she said. “Like, I can’t even say that without crying, screaming, but I am the next Bachelorette.”

“Is this for real? No way, I’m going to totally cry,” she added.

The Columbus, Georgia native got the good news after The Bachelor season 27 lead Zach Shallcross jilted her following the hometown visits.

“I can’t give you the love you deserve,” Shallcross told Lawson. She appeared caught off guard after admitting, “I’m falling in love. I’m honestly falling in love.”

But Shallcross eliminated Lawson and she left in tears.

After learning she will lead the upcoming 20th season of The Bachelor spinoff, Charity said it was a dream come true.

“I’ve wanted forever to find the love of my life,” she explained. “I’m speechless.”
