The actor — who testified on Capitol Hill last summer about being sexually harassed by a Hollywood agent — took to Twitter after Essence magazine published a Jan. 10 article with explosive claims against Touré.
In the article, a makeup artist accused the longtime music journalist of sexual harassment in 2017, when they both worked for Time Inc.

Touré — who also previously worked for Rolling Stone and MSNBC — was featured throughout Lifetime’s recent docuseries Surviving R. Kelly, and discussed his 2008 BET interview with R. Kelly.
Earlier this week, Touré appeared on The ClubHouse with Mouse Jones podcast to discuss the sexual abuse and pedophilia allegations against Kelly that were detailed in the docuseries.

The podcast posted clips promoting the interview on social media.
According to Essence, a makeup artist, who goes by the name “Dani,” left a comment on the show’s Instagram post alleging Touré sexually harassed her when they worked together.
“He couldn’t stop asking me to do anal, how I looked naked, if I had sex over the weekend, what it would be like to f–k me,” she wrote.
Dani said she eventually quit, adding that she reported Touré to human resources after she left. She said he was subsequently fired.

In an interview with Essence, Dani said she decided to go public after seeing Touré on Surviving R. Kelly, and doing interviews about the docuseries.
“When I saw him going around as R. Kelly’s docuseries spokesman to different radio stations, the lies had to stop. I’ve worked with Mouse Jones before and wanted him to know the truth,” she said.
Touré has since responded to Dani’s claims with the following statement: “On the show, our team, including myself, engaged in edgy, crass banter, that at the time I did not think was offensive for our tight-knit group. I am sorry for my language and for making her feel uncomfortable in any way. As a lead on the show, I should have refrained from this behavior. I have learned and grown from this experience.”

Across the board we are seeing journalist, and media members being accused of harassment and more. Why just recently? Because the media was able to protect their own and controlled what news people would see or read. After the obvious unfair attacks against Trump, people have become far more skeptical of the media/journalists, and now we’re seeing these stories being released.
Must be all that toxic Black male energy again.
