Stevie J thinks it’s unfair his good friend Sean “Diddy” Combs has been characterized as a monster in dozens of civil lawsuits and a string of documentaries.
What upsets the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta alum even more is all of this has unfolded before Diddy’s criminal trial begins in May.
Stevie J, born Steven Aaron Jordan, sat down for an interview with VladTV about his career as a music producer; potentially selling his music catalog; Diddy; the recent passing of late rapper Notorious B.I.G.’s mother Voletta Wallace; and “the hood” not wanting him to do an interview with “culture vulture” DJ Vlad.

In the interview posted to YouTube last week, Stevie J insisted it will be nearly impossible for Diddy to get a fair trial because of the lawsuits against the mogul.
“It’s bogus. It’s a lot of bogusness,” he said without referring to a specific complaint.
Asked about the now-dismissed complaint by a woman who claimed she was 13 years old when Diddy and Jay-Z allegedly took turns assaulting her at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party in 2000, Stevie J said the lawsuit was outlandish.
“Do you hear the way that s–t sounds? Do you see the scenario they’re trying to lay out? They’re pretty much like, even if you get free from this, we’re going to f–k your reputation up so bad, because I never knew an instance where you’ve been proven guilty before you even go to f–king court,” he said.
Both Jay-Z and Diddy denied the allegations and the woman’s attorney Tony Buzbee later dropped the lawsuit.
Stevie J also slammed the documentaries being made about the Bad Boy Records founder’s legal troubles.
“All of these f–king documentaries, he ain’t been proven guilty of anything,” he stated. Stevie J incorrectly said Diddy hasn’t been charged with a crime before being corrected.
Later, he said, “Hopefully. The truth will prevail.”
Diddy has been accused of rape, sex trafficking, battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping, withholding earnings, inhumane working conditions, and other allegations in about three dozen lawsuits.
The jailed mogul has denied all of the allegations.
Stevie J was at Diddy’s Miami mansion when it was raided by Homeland Security agents in March 2024, however, Diddy was not there.
In another part of the interview, Stevie J said about the raid, “I didn’t even think it was real at first.”
He insisted the simultaneous raids on the mogul’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles were for show and an intimidation tactic by the feds.
“It’s about the embarrassment,” he said.
Diddy was arrested in September 2024, and charged with three federal counts — racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Prosecutors later added a “forced labor” allegation against the music mogul. He pleaded not guilty to that count as well.
Jury selection in his case is scheduled to begin on May 5, with his trial tentatively set to start on May 12.
