Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta stars Stevie J and Benzino are reuniting, this time in court.
The pair will appear on A&E’s Court Night Live tonight as part of a steamy seafood case. In the episode, the hip-hop artists are sued for $4,000 for breach of contract and wasted money by Chicago businesswoman and restauranteur Erin Lewis.
Lewis is angry and claims that Benzino and Stevie J boiled her business, Benzino’s Crab Trap, Chicago, instead of promoting it to a hot steaming success. Benzino and Stevie J argue that Lewis became crabby and just wanted to use their fame and names instead of putting in any real work, for example, like learning how to cook a good crab.
Benzino and Stevie J are no strangers to controversy. After appearing as main cast members of VH1 reality show Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, they became known for their tumultuous relationships with their partners.
Most recently, Stevie J appeared on TV One’s Uncensored to reflect on his life, career and to throw shade at his rivals, as previously reported.
In 2020, Benzino starred on OWN’s relationship docuseries Love Goals with on and off girlfriend Althea Heart, to work on communication. Their relationship became well known to fans of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.
Court Night Live is hosted by Vinnie Politan and Judge Greg Mathis, with analysis from retired Judge Vonda Evans. There’s also an interactive portion where viewers get to vote on the verdicts in some of the cases in real time via text message.
Dan Cesareo, Lucilla D’Agostino and John Zito are executive producers for Big Fish Entertainment. Elaine Frontain Bryant, Shelly Tatro, and Sean Gottlieb are executive producers for A&E.
You can catch the reality stars on the courtroom drama Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 8/7c on A&E.
