Starz has announced the premiere date for rapper Fat Joe’s new talk series.
The network’s first weekly interview show titled Fat Joe Talks is set to premiere on Oct. 4. The first guest will be original Wu-Tang Clan member and Power Book II: Ghost star Method Man.
“Fat Joe will be the first to capture Method’s reflections on his NAACP Image Award-winning role as Davis MacLean following the closing chapter of the acclaimed series (Power Book II: Ghost),” according to the official description.
Joe and Method Man will also discuss coming up in the hip-hop world during the 1990s, and Method Man – born Clifford Smith Jr. — will talk about preserving his privacy as a family man.
The premiere episode was filmed in Method Man’s Staten Island, New York hometown and the two will be traveling to places of personal significance.

Other upcoming guests include Mary J. Blige, Democratic House leader Hakeem Jeffries, T.I., and Babyface.
There will be additional appearances by Latto, Remy Ma, and reggae artist Buju Banton. More air dates and extra guests will be announced later for the 30-minute weekly episodes.
In addition to hosting, the “Lean Back” rapper is one of the executive producers.
Other executive producers include LeBron James, Maverick Carter, Philip Byron, and Jamal Henderson for SpringHill and Michael Davies for Embassy Row.
New episodes will be released every Friday at midnight on the Starz app and at 9:00 PM ET/PT in the U.S. and 11:00 PM ET in Canada on the cable channel.
