Since leaving, the Staten Island native has been focusing on his acting career and preparing for the May 4 release of his new Peacock series, Bupkis.
Davidson writes, executive produces and stars in the comedy as a fictionalized version of himself. Emmy-winning actress Edie Falco plays his mom and Oscar winner Joe Pesci co-stars as Davidson’s grandfather on the series, which is produced by SNL creator Lorne Michaels.
Meanwhile, Lil Uzi Vert is putting the finishing touches on their long-awaited third studio album The Pink Tape.
Last month, the Philadelphia musician told fans at Rolling Loud California in Los Angeles that the album is on the way.
“I know I make y’all wait a long time for music, and I’m so sorry I thought that sh-t was cool before, but that sh-t is lame,” they said. “I’m putting in the final touches on Pink Tape and I promise. I’ve made a lot of promises in my life, but this time I promise.”
In February, the rapper’s single “Just Wanna Rock” hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs Chart.
You can catch Lil Uzi Vert and Pete Davidson on the May 6 episode of SNL at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT on NBC and streaming on Peacock.
