Simon Cowell is currently recovering from a broken arm after falling off an electric bike in London, according to published reports.
The Sun first reported the news after the America’s Got Talent judge was spotted walking around while sporting a bright yellow cast.
A source told the Sun the 62-year-old was riding his electric bike last week when he hit a wet patch on the road, flew over the handlebars and into the middle of the street.
“Stupidly, Simon wasn’t wearing a helmet, and blood was pouring from his face — he looked like something from ‘Phantom of the Opera,'” the source said.
“He fell off his bike and broke his arm. He’s absolutely fine,” another person told People magazine in an article published Tuesday.

Cowell was taken to the hospital and released that evening.
The crash occurred a day after filming wrapped on the new season of Britain’s Got Talent, which will begin airing in April. Cowell also serves as a judge on America’s Got Talent.
He was previously hospitalized for another electric bike incident in 2020, when he broke his back after trying out a new electric bike at his Malibu home.
At the time, he had to have surgery and a metal rod put into his back, several media outlets reported.
