Emmy-winning actress Sheryl Lee Ralph will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing” at the Super Bowl LVII pre-show, the NFL announced Tuesday.

Ralph, who was one of the original Dreamgirls cast members, currently co-stars on the ABC comedy Abbott Elementary. She notably broke into song on stage while accepting her Emmy Award for Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in September 2022.

Joining Ralph in the Super Bowl pre-show celebration will be 12-time Grammy winner Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. The singer, songwriter, and producer is set to perform “America the Beautiful.”

Country music artist Chris Stapleton will sing the National Anthem.

Oscar-winning actor Troy Kotsur will perform the National Anthem in American Sign Language (ASL) on behalf of the National Association of the Deaf (NAD), the NFL said. Kotsur starred in the Apple TV+ film CODA and last year became only the second deaf person to win an Oscar.

Colin Denny, a deaf Native American from Arizona, will sign “America the Beautiful.” Deaf performer Justina Miles will sign “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” and also provide the ASL rendition of the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show.

As previously reported, Rihanna will headline the Halftime Show produced by DPS with Roc Nation, and Jesse Collins serving as executive producers.

The Super Bowl kicks off at State Farm Stadium in Arizona on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, and will be broadcast on FOX.

More details on each of the performers can be found in the official NFL press release.
