The autopsy report has been released for Los Angeles entertainment journalist Sam Rubin, who died on May 10 at age 64.

The former KTLA Morning News reporter and anchor passed away after “a heart attack caused by coronary artery disease,” the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner said on its website.

Rubin’s manner of death was ruled as “natural,” with the report saying he suffered from “ischemic heart disease due to atherosclerotic coronary artery disease.”

Ischemic heart disease is “caused by narrowed heart arteries,” leading to less blood and oxygen reaching the heart muscle, according to the American Heart Association.
