When The Real Housewives of Potomac returns for season 9, Robyn Dixon won’t be part of the cast.
The OG cast member confirmed her exit on the Monday, April 15 episode of her “Reasonably Shady” podcast, saying it wasn’t her choice to leave RHOP.
“I will not be returning to season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac,” she shared. “The network did not invite me back. I was fired, for lack of better words.”

As she continued her conversation with fellow RHOP star Gizelle Bryant, Dixon got emotional about her departure.
“I hope that I inspired you, the viewers, the fans, to live your life, you know, authentically, not feel pressure to change for anyone or for society or to impress people and just to be yourself,” she said.
Dixon was an original cast member on the Maryland spinoff when it premiered in 2016, along with Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan and Katie Rost.
“I had a very long run on the show,” she continued on the podcast. “I just really appreciate the time and the opportunity that I had on the show. I just want to say thank you to the network.”
Despite the circumstances, the reality star expressed gratitude for the opportunity to be part of the Bravo show.
“I just want to say thank you to the network. Bravo, Truly Original, the production company, the executives there. The people who gave me the opportunity to be on the show, who saw something in me in 2015,” she said.
Dixon ended her comments by expressing her appreciation for the show’s fans.
“I do want to especially thank all of the fans and viewers who have supported me, showed loved to me,” she said. “Whether you directly sent me love or you prayed for me or you have positive energy or positive thoughts around me, I appreciate you.”
Her announcement came just one day after the conclusion of the show’s three-part season 8 reunion.
Throughout the season, viewers saw Dixon and Candiace Dillard Bassett butting heads.
Last month The Jasmine Brand reported Robyn would be leaving the show because the network is “shaking up the cast, trying to revive the series.”
Candiace announced her departure on March 25.
“As I embark on a new chapter after six remarkable years with The Real Housewives of Potomac, I am filled with gratitude for the enriching friendships, personal growth and moments of introspection that have defined this journey,” she said in a statement to People magazine. “With a whirlwind of new opportunities and responsibilities on my plate, I have decided to take a break from RHOP.“
