Apollo Nida is back behind bars, just days after he was released from federal prison.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum was picked up from a halfway house in Philadelphia for violating terms of his parole, the US Marshals Service told Page Six Thursday.
“He was taken back into custody. I wouldn’t say it was an arrest because it’s not a new charge. It was an order of the court to bring him into custody,” a representative from the marshals service said, adding that Nida violated a technical condition of his release.
The rep didn’t say what exactly happened, but some media outlets reported that Nida he may have had intimate contact with someone, possibly his fiancée.
He had previously been jailed at Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in New Jersey, after serving 5 years of his 8-year sentence for conspiracy to commit mail, wire and bank fraud, and identity theft. He was released from prison and taken to the halfway house on June 4.
Nida could end up serving the remainder of his original sentence, which was set to end on Oct. 15, 2019.
The troubled reality star was married to RHOA alum Phaedra Parks for eight years. The couple has two young sons together, Ayden, 8, and Dylan, 5.
