A federal judge in Miami has ordered rapper Pooh Shiesty held without bond on federal gun and robbery charges, authorities said Wednesday.

The 21-year-old rapper, real name Lontrell Williams, and two associates are accused of shooting and robbing two men during a street deal gone wrong, the U.S. Attorney’s Office Southern District of Florida said in a press release.

According to an Oct. 9, 2020 federal grand jury indictment, Pooh Shiesty, along with 21-year-old Bobby Brown, and 20-year-old Jayden Darosa drove to a hotel to buy marijuana and a pair of high-end sneakers from two other men.

The suspects allegedly pulled out semi-automatic weapons and shot the two individuals during the transaction, then grabbed up the items without paying for them, and drove away.

The indictment charges Pooh Shiesty, Brown, and Darosa each with one count of conspiring to possess firearms during a crime of violence, robbery, and discharging a firearm.

Pooh Shiesty also faces state charges in Miami related to the shooting of a security guard at a strip club in May 2021. The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office is prosecuting the state charges.
