Post Malone dominated the Billboard Music Awards Wednesday evening, picking up nine trophies including the Top Artist honor.
“I’m honestly blown away by the love everyone’s shown to me,” Malone said onstage. “It’s kind of big deal to me and everybody involved because we work our (butts) off.”
Billie Eilish was also a big winner and took home the awards for Top Billboard 200 Album and Top Female Artist.

The show was held inside the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, with Kelly Clarkson serving as host of the NBC broadcast. There was no audience because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but some winners and performers were on-hand while others sent in pre-recorded appearances.
Among the other winners, Lil Nas X accepted the award for Top Hot 100 song for “Old Town Road.” Lizzo picked up the Top Song Sales Artist honor, and Khalid was named Top R&B Artist.
Killer Mike accepted the first-ever Billboard Change Maker Award for his work as a musician and social-justice activist. Country star Garth Brooks received the Icon Award.
